A For Athens Hotel

Though the light switches were puzzling, the Red & Blue suites were spacious and comfy. A minor oversight on the bar's minimum consumption and limited dinner menu. Overall a delightful experience!

The breakfast spread was top-notch, with loads of yummy options including an espresso machine and a special treat for New Year's Day, while the New Year's Eve dinner at the restaurant was fantastic - great food, drinks, and vibe! The hotel's primo location by the metro station and near Monastiraki and Syntagma Square made getting around a breeze, with a short jaunt to the Acropolis. 🌟 Lifts were a bit iffy, could be a hassle for older folks, but no biggie overall!

The location at A for Athens is unbeatable, offering stunning views and a lively atmosphere. The staff are warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms and delightful rooftop bar. The only downside is the late-night noise from the plaza, but earplugs are provided for a peaceful sleep.

Our group chose to stay in this hotel due to its unbeatable location in the heart of Athens, just across the road from Monastiraki Square. The friendly staff and delicious breakfast added to the overall positive experience. We especially enjoyed the convenience of having the metro station right across the road for easy access to the airport.

Omg, the location of this hotel is chef's kiss! it's super close to all the major sites in athens. Yasss! the breakfast rooftop view of the acropolis was a dream 😍. Rooms were clean, but kinda old-fashioned. Drawback: rooms felt a bit dated.

Great location with amazing rooftop views for breakfast. Staff was friendly and rooms were comfortable. Some noise outside at night, but the design and amenities make up for it. As a family of 5, our experience was mixed, but overall enjoyable.

The rooftop bar was too crowded, but the hotel's central location, friendly staff, and spacious rooms made up for it. Noise from the lively square could be bothersome, but the stunning Acropolis view from the room and rooftop restaurant, delicious breakfast, and easy access to transportation, shops, and attractions were unbeatable. If you don't mind the noise, this perfect hotel in Athens is a great choice.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right by the square and less than 200m from the metro station. The rooms have an amazing view of the Acropolis, which is a stunning sight to wake up to every day. The rooftop restaurant/bar offers a delicious breakfast with the best view ever.

This hotel is a great spot for your stay in Athens. the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, next to the main square and literally next to the metro. Everything you want to see and do in Athens is within walking distance. Secondly, the rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and some even have views of the Acropolis. The attention to detail is evident, with coffee and tea facilities in the room. Finally, the breakfast served on the rooftop with breathtaking views of the city, including the Acropolis, is a fantastic way to start your day.

That it could get a bit noisy at night, but it wasn't a big issue.

The hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the central train station, making it easy to travel around the city by metro. It is also situated in Monastiraki square, with the subway right in front, providing quick access to other areas. The bustling square is just in front of the hotel, offering a lively atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, with amenities such as robes, slippers. The bathroom features a rainfall shower and there is a kettle and coffee machine in the room.

The hotel entrance might appear a bit gritty as there are about 10 mopeds flanking the front door.

I loved the very nice view from the rooftop bar and restaurant. The breakfast was amazing with excellent coffee and a good range of foods. The hotel had helpful and friendly staff, and the location was so convenient, right on the square giving easy access to most attractions.

Great location opposite a metro station and near shopping and food options. Rooms are well-appointed, spacious, and clean. The rooftop bar has fantastic views of a famous landmark. High standard of comfort seen in modern updates throughout the stay. Breakfast provided was good.

Our stay at A For was amazing! We were in Athens for a few days and the hotel's location was perfect - we could walk everywhere. The breakfast was wonderful with a variety of options and great coffee. The rooftop restaurant had a fabulous view of the Acropolis for breakfast and dinner. The staff were super friendly and the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Loved it all.

Although the rooms are spacious, they have very thin walls which make the noise from the street unbearable at times.

I had an very nice stay at this hotel! The view from my room was amazing, with a direct view of the bustling Monastiraki Square. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the sights and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the area. The rooftop bar and restaurant were a highlight, offering delicious food and drinks while enjoying the fine Acropolis view. The check-in staff were friendly and professional, making me feel welcome. Despite some noise from the square, the room wasnice and neat, with modern furnishings and a fantastic bathroom. The breakfast selection was excellent, providing a good start to each day. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Athens.

My room was a bit small but everything was well-organized. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. I had a great stay at A For!

During my Easter stay, I was pleased with the fine view of the famous landmarks from my room. It was amazing to wake up to such an exquisite sight. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the city on foot or easily access public transportation. the rooftop terrace restaurant/bar was a highlight, offering delicious food and drinks in a unique indoor/outdoor setting.

One downside was the noise from the busy square outside, especially in the evenings. the hotel's soundproof windows helped alleviate most of the disturbance, and they even provided earplugs as a backup option.
